Artwork and Rules in Hanging Them

A second rule follows. Avoid making the groupings wider than the furniture under it. If you want to give a unified look to a wall, hang the pictures close together, especially if they’re of varying sizes. Probably you have a prized collection of bird prints but there are no frames that are similar in type and size. Avoid hanging them frame by frame and instead do so applying the concept of pleasing geometrics. Get further information from pet portrait artist about paintings and more.

Then there is another rule. Pictures may be hung close together but the wall as a frame serves to set off a group of pictures on all four sides. Should you consider pleasing geometry you should arrange the pictures to look like a square or a rectangle afterwards. When your task involves four pictures all framed alike and of the same size a good idea would be hang them geometrically in a square over the sofa, or in a straight line over a long table, or vertically above a small step table. If you must hang pictures in a step pattern, do so only on a staircase. A pattern where straight lines meet at right angles is the best option. There are times when a little regimentation is the better option to take.
